Survey: 30% of travelers forget to turn off devices during flight

A survey found that about one-third of passengers accidentally leave on their electronic devices during flight. "The data in the study reveals important insights into actual passenger behavior, which we hope the FAA will find useful as it deliberates on this issue," said Russell Lemieux, executive director of the Airline Passenger Experience Association. The APEX survey was co-sponsored with the Consumer Electronics Association.
