Ark. insulin-pump-maker obtains $2M in Series B financing

SFC Fluidics has raised $2 million in a Series B funding round, which the Fayetteville, Ark.-based company aims to use to bring its insulin patch pump to market. The battery-powered device, which is more compact than commercially available pumps, initially will be marketed for use in treating type 2 diabetes patients who are insulin-dependent.
