Biking to work gains popularity, support from companies

The U.S. Census Bureau said the number of people who bike to work increased about 60% over 10 years, while the number of walkers remained about the same. Some companies offer incentives or rewards for biking to work, including Patagonia, where employees who bike, walk, carpool or take public transit are reimbursed $2 per trip and can earn up to $500 per year.
