"Calvin and Hobbes" creator describes work habits

Bill Watterson, who created the comic strip "Calvin and Hobbes," reveals in a recent documentary that while creating the work he focused on making something fun that would make his wife laugh. "My comic strip was the way that I explored the world and my own perceptions and thoughts," he says. "So, yes, the work was insanely intense, but that was the whole point of doing it."
