Confused by green marketing rules? You're not alone

Green marketing remains surrounded by "uncertainty and vagueness," with many marketers unsure of what they're legally permitted to claim for their products, says cosmetics lawyer Angela Diesch. "I view it to be the responsibility of each person and each company to decide how green they will be and then to be honest about it to themselves and their consumers about those efforts and the results," she adds.
