A company that tried to fight an anonymous legal battle over a safety complaint has been revealed to be Ergobaby, a manufacturer of baby carriers. The legal battle started after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission received an anonymous complaint claiming that one of the company's products led to the death of an infant. In 2012, a judge determined that the complaint was "materially inaccurate" and sealed many of the records. However, the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals determined that the records should be made public, and the company decided to reveal its identity.
