Food industry gears up for summer with plans to add seasonal staff

The majority of hospitality, foodservice and retail companies recently surveyed plan to hire seasonal staff this summer, and most expect to have their hiring done by the end of this month, according to Snagajob. Many expect to hire more this year because of the improving economy, said the National Restaurant Association's chief economist, Bruce Grindy.
