Should colleges ditch their fossil-fuel investments?

A growing number of universities are divesting from their investments in fossil fuels, but some say that strategy is simply grandstanding and doesn't do much to address the need for cleaner energy technologies. "It strikes us as a politically expedient course of action rather than a rational response," says Luke Popovich, a spokesman for the National Mining Association.
