YouTube tries to tap popularity of beauty content

Michelle Phan and Grav3yardGirl are among the rising beauty-tip stars on YouTube who present a lucrative opportunity for the Google-owned video site to draw traditional beauty-ad dollars to digital. Phan generates 23 million views each month and Grav3yardGirl more than 28 million. "These women draw in millennials, particularly young women, in droves," writes Mike Shields.
