California students give storytelling to high-tech spin

Thanks to a federal grant, 20 students at Sycamore Junior High School in Anaheim, Calif., are using digital camera and computers to put their original stories on film. History teacher Ricardo Garcia conceived of the project as a way to bolster the English skills of the children, many of whom immigrated from Mexico.
