Passing the SOL a new hurdle for Virginia seniors

With graduation just one month away, an estimated 5.7% of the Virginia's seniors are in danger of not earning their diplomas because they need to pass required courses or the state's SOL exam. Gov. Mark Warner says no matter what the public outcry may be, backing off from using the exam as a graduation requirement would be unfair to school systems and students.
