Connecticut in-school snack food ban faces opposition

Soft drink makers, teamsters and school boards oppose a proposed ban on certain snack food and soft drinks in Connecticut public schools, with one lobbyist saying it is "misplaced to focus only on what children drink and eat at school." The bill is considered the strongest such bill being proposed at the state level.
