U.S. military looks to boost ranks of cybersecurity experts

Although the Pentagon currently only graduates about 80 students per year from its cybersecurity programs, that number is expected to quadruple by 2011 if the proposed Department of Defense budget passes. Part of this effort includes an increased focus on cyberwar games at the nation's military academies -- all of which now offer IT security courses -- and more field postings for computer-focused soldiers.
