Embrace your social-media mistakes

Oregon State University is using a social-media campaign to shed its rural image and reinvent itself as a hotbed of digital innovation. Along the way, the university learned to embrace its mistakes as part of a social-media learning curve, says Luanne Lawrence, OSU's vice president of university advancement. "It's really kind of fun to make mistakes in social media because you can learn and recover very quickly," she adds.
