JetBlue picks South African Airways for international partnership

JetBlue Airways on Friday announced a new interlining agreement with South African Airways, allowing customers to fly on a single ticket with a one-time bag check. The arrangement marks JetBlue's third partnership with an overseas carrier as it seeks to pursue an "open architecture" strategy to build relationships without joining one of the three global alliances that dominate international travel.
