Location games, networks offer new market for app makers

Mobile-handset users are hooked on location-based social networks and games, and the appetite isn't ebbing anytime soon. In response, software makers are looking to beat competitors in grabbing users and trying to monetize a business model. Even big players such as Google are hungry to move into the space as it's boosting its Latitude service to get into the market.
