Marketers get results from Promoted Tweets

Virgin America, Bravo TV and Red Bull, which are among the first clients for Twitter's Promoted Tweets program, are already seeing results from the initiative. Virgin, through Promoted Tweets and subsequent retweets, was able to sell out in three hours a 50% off deal for the first 500 customers to fly its new route from Toronto to two California airports.
