MTA alertness campaign makes the news

A public service campaign urging riders of New York's Metropolitan Transit Authority to be vigilant about potential threats -- using the tagline "If you see something, say something" -- is being used across the U.S. and internationally. The catchphrase made the news this month when Lance Orton, the vendor who alerted police to a smoking SUV in Times Square, used it in describing his watchdog work to reporters.
