Oil firm, contractors debate cause of oil spill

The blame game is under way: BP and two of its subcontractors, Transocean and Halliburton, are debating what caused the oil-rig blowout, fire and oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The Senate will hear from executives of all three companies at a hearing today. Federal investigators are looking into one possible culprit: a type of nitrogen-charged cement used to close off the well.
