Quicker weight loss rate leads to more pounds shed

University of Florida researchers said women who lost weight quickly, at a rate of more than 1.5 pounds a week, dropped more pounds overall and kept them off longer than those who shed a half-pound per week or less. The study found the fast losers also kept a better food diary and ate fewer calories than the other women in the study.
