Vet stresses need to prepare for poisoning emergencies

With pets being innately curious, medical emergencies such as poisoning are likely to arise. To better prepare for such emergencies, one veterinarian advises owners to have on hand the contact number of their veterinarian or the local emergency veterinary clinic as well as a pet emergency first-aid kit.
