CME wants to raise daily limit for corn futures at CBOT

CME Group initially proposed expanding the daily limit for corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade to 50 cents, up from 30 cents, but the company decided 40 cents is appropriate. CME, which owns CBOT, reduced the proposed increase "after significant discussion with customers and representative trade groups," said executive Tim Andriesen. "Wider limits have an impact on many of our commercial customers."
