The double-edged sword of social media for new graduates

This year's job market appears more favorable to recent college graduates, with 46% of companies that participated in a recent CareerBuilder survey saying they want to hire recent grads. Of those, 16% say they seek applicants with social media skills. At the same time, social media presence can backfire for students if they share too much personal information online, experts say, noting that such information can be seen by potential employers.
