What prevents students from finishing college?

Concerns about student loans, inadequate preparation in high school and a lack of support are top reasons why students do not graduate from college, according to a new report. Current students and dropouts in Texas were interviewed to determine what helped and hurt them in college. When asked what would improve college-completion rates, they suggested more focus on math and writing in high school, better advising and more financial-aid help.
