New menu spurs sales growth at Burger King

Burger King's turnaround efforts and a new menu including salads, snack wraps and smoothies fueled a 4.6% rise in same-store sales in the first quarter, the biggest sales increase for the chain in more than eight quarters. The chain added 22 new restaurants in the quarter, all of them outside the U.S.
