White House heavily edited Benghazi talking points, leaked documents suggest

Leaked documents detail the drafting process for the CIA's controversial Benghazi talking points, and appear to show that White House officials made numerous changes to the documents based on input from the State Department. White House spokesman Jay Carney said the leaked files don't contradict his claim that the Obama administration mostly left intact the CIA's original assessment. "The fact that there are inputs is always the case in a process like this, but the only edits made by anyone here at the White House were stylistic and nonsubstantive," he said.
