Yahoo's paternity-leave policy may not matter

Yahoo's decision to offer more paternity leave probably won't affect profits, as new fathers often turn down paternity leave, experts say. A 2012 study from the University of Connecticut and the University of Virginia found that 88% of fathers decline paternity leave. "There's just a lot of societal pressures on men, more so than women, so it's harder for men to take the full leave," Aon Hewitt's Carol Sladek says.
