General Mills praised for hiring, promoting minority women

Working Mother magazine has named General Mills one of the best places to work for minority women. Forty-five percent of the company's professional employees in the U.S. are women, and one-fifth of those are minorities. Two minority women sit on the company's 14-member board of directors.
