Low voltage lighting deserves to share spotlight with line voltage for energy savings

Low voltage lighting may lie in the shadow of the higher-profile energy-saving line voltage lighting, but low voltage also saves energy while offering additional benefits. When powered properly, a 50-watt low voltage lamp has the capacity to put out as much light as a 125-watt line voltage lamp, and the per-lamp savings can be be as much as $7.50 for each 1,000 hours of operation.
