MediaVest lands $3.2B GM media account

General Motors was expected to announce today that Publicis Groupe agency Starcom MediaVest will handle its $3.2 billion U.S. media buying account. The business had previously belonged to the Interpublic Group, which had established a specialized agency, General Motors Mediaworks in Detroit, to handle the account.
