Social networks still looking for revenue model

Social networks such as MySpace and Facebook are still searching for the right revenue model -- perhaps some combination of banner ads, premium subscriptions and licensing deals -- to back up their stratospheric valuations, according to this article. "You can't have a $15 billion market valuation based on advertising alone," said Bill Eager, co-founder of bSocial Networks. "It's the single most-asked question in this field."
