Schools investigating appeal of forensic science

A New York high school is introducing students to forensic science, and 75% of teachers surveyed by the National Science Teachers Association say they are using some form of forensic science in class. Students study clues from simulated crime scenes, emulating characters on hit TV shows such as "CSI," and have even pointed out flaws in those shows.
