Agents are wary about airlines' move toward direct-connect model

American Airlines' direct-connect strategy has raised a number of questions among travel agents. The model allows agents to sell in-flight Wi-Fi access, meals and other ancillary products. Other airlines also are making moves toward the strategy but are not being as vocal about their efforts as American has been. Agents say they are concerned about the efforts.
