Kansas to invest $8.2 billion in infrastructure over 10 years

Kansas lawmakers approved an $8.2 billion package to improve the state's highways, railways and bridges over the next 10 years. "This transportation plan literally paves the way to economic recovery in Kansas," said state Rep. Ron Worley, a Republican. The package now heads to Gov. Mark Parkinson for approval.
