Mississippi levee board wants Corps of Engineers to push $205M project

The levee board of Hinds and Rankin counties in Mississippi cleared a proposal that asks the Army Corps of Engineers to continue with the Two Lakes waterfront development plan. The $205 million project would extend the levees along the Pearl River and might include the construction of a new lake to provide flood protection.
