U.S. aerial-spray missions continue to help break down Gulf spill

U.S. Air Force Reserve C-130s were scheduled to make 10 trips from Panama City, Fla., on Monday to scatter a detergent-like dispersant to help handle the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The planes sprayed 58,036 gallons of dispersant covering 11,573 acres between May 1 and May 9, and daily missions will proceed, an Air Force official said.
