White House report outlines steps to help curb obesity

The White House's childhood obesity task force issued a report Tuesday calling on food marketers to institute wide-ranging changes to the way food is marketed to children, such as curbs on in-store marketing of certain products. The report also calls on restaurants to improve children's menus and reconsider portion sizes, and it says the FDA should work with retailers on a standard system of nutrition labeling for the front of food packages.
