Breast-feeding is OK for HBV moms after immunoprophylaxis

An analysis of 10 studies found women with hepatitis B who were given proper immunoprophylaxis were not more likely to transfer the disease to their babies during breast-feeding, according to a study in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine. Chinese researchers said, however, further trials testing breast milk for HBV markers are needed.
