Wellness program for Walton County employees gets OK

Commissioners in Walton County, Ga., voted to allow county employees to participate in a four-month wellness program to prevent diabetes, hypertension and other conditions. DeDe Harris of Walton Wellness, a partner on the initiative, said it could save the county money on health care costs and could be expanded to other local businesses.
