Minnesota Vikings stadium bill approved

The Minnesota Vikings are now set to get their $1 billion stadium. State legislators approved a measure that requires state taxpayers, the team and the city of Minneapolis to contribute. It will be the National Football League's fourth-most expensive stadium. The stadium is expected to have 65,000 seats and a retractable roof and to open in 2016.
