Seniors reject drug discount cards as confusing, inadequate

Medicare chief Mark McClellan said the complexity of the plan was meant to encourage competition, but one health policy researcher said it will instead keep people away from the program. Medicare officials have launched a Web site to help beneficiaries compare drug costs under the various card programs, but a number of seniors say they can't afford computers or can't see well enough to use them.
