Upbeat forecast for business jet deliveries

Consulting organization The Teal Group predicts 6,413 business jets, with a value of $91.7 billion, will be produced over the next 10 years. "Despite the market's softness, utilization remains high," forecasters said, and though the outlook could be affected by a squeeze on profits and other factors, the retirement of current business jets is expected to prompt demand for new aircraft after 2005.
