Obituary: Professor championed rights for people with disabilities

Harlan Hahn, 68, a veteran University of Southern California political science professor died last month more than 35 years after pushing for laws to protect people with disabilities from discrimination. Hahn, who used a wheelchair and crutches after a childhood bout with polio, sued the university in 1998 to improve campus access for all people with disabilities.
