Sunday twisters devastate Georgia counties:

A half dozen tornadoes ripped through Georgia Sunday, damaging hundreds of homes, toppling trees and leaving thousands without electricity. The twisters hit 19 Georgia counties, with the region from Clayton County south to Macon faring the worst. A state of emergency was declared in Bibb, Carroll, Douglas, Jefferson, Johnson and Laurens counties.
