AIG's Liddy thinks criticism hurts company, taxpayers

Edward Liddy, CEO of American International Group, is expected to tell U.S. lawmakers that "rampant" criticism of the company could negatively affect taxpayers as it destroys the insurer's value. He is set to testify Wednesday before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. In addition to questioning Liddy, the committee is looking into the role of agencies, such as the Federal Reserve, in AIG's meltdown.
