Army Corps to restore Virginia's Lynnhaven River

The Army Corps of Engineers laid out plans to revive the Lynnhaven River in Virginia at a scientific conference this week. The Corps plans a multimillion-dollar restoration of the wetlands and will seed the waters with edible bay scallops. The Lynnhaven River, which stretches across 64 miles near Virginia Beach, became polluted around 50 years ago with raw sewage from nearby developments.
