Most senior financial executives are planning to reduce company travel budgets, but they will continue spending on revenue-generating travel, according to a recent study. The survey, released by American Express and CFO Research Services, found most executives put a priority on meetings with clients. "The bottom line is that people still have to meet with customers," said Wendy Prewitt of American Express. "Overall spending will go down, but companies right now are investing for the future."
