St. Louis tunnel to be filled with Styrofoam blocks

A project in St. Louis will use car-sized blocks of Styrofoam to fill a train tunnel as part of a project to improve the city's Tucker Boulevard. The foam blocks will prevent three nearby buildings from collapsing as contractors remove a bridge and rebuild a road above the tunnel. Tucker Boulevard will eventually link to the new Mississippi River bridge.
