Stimulus funds pay for improvements to Florida naval projects

Federal economic-stimulus funds will pay for improvements to the Jacksonville Naval Hospital in Florida. The project, which will cost $557,000, is the first in the city to receive stimulus funding. The stimulus program will contribute a total of $40.6 million to projects at Florida's Jacksonville Naval Air Station, Mayport Naval Station and Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base.
