Stimulus funds will pay for training incentives for some Ore. teachers

Oregon's education department will use almost $3 million in stimulus funds for education -- along with private donations -- to encourage early-childhood teachers to seek more training. The director of an Oregon preschool that piloted a similar incentive program said the professional development that resulted improved her school.
